Children & Family Ministry Galloway's Ministry to Children emphasizes service. so that the Children can learn about the connectedness of all human beings and how to live with compassion for others as well as the joy of self-giving. We accomplish this with a child-centered curriculum and activities that emphasize Biblical content, relevance to their lives, and Fun.
Upcoming Events
Children's choirs and God's Games will resume Wednesday, Sept 8th! God's Games is from 5:40 to 6:00 in the Gym. Children will be divided into two groups for games. Wee Song and Alphabits choirs will be in one group and Cherub and Alleluia choirs in the other group for games. Children who participate in games will be walked to choir practice at 6:00. See the Worship Arts department for more information about children's choirs.
Saturday, September 25, 2010 9:00-11:00 Grace Place Cooking Form your children to love and serve by participating in this family friendly mission opportunity! Grace Place is open every weekday morning to serve a hot meal to our homeless brothers and sisters. To keep up with the meals served each week the Missions Department has created Grace Place Cooking Days. Saturday, September 25th will be a special family friendly cooking day with cookie decorating and casserole making. Come from 9:00-11:00 (or however long you think your children can serve). 11:00-11:45 Pizza Lunch and Year Overview During lunch Miss Lori will briefly share about the opportunities coming up this year for children and families. Bring your family and a few dollars for pizza, and enjoy serving the Lord and fellowshipping with friends!
Someone will be in the library to help you check out books on Sundays from 10:30-12:00 and half an hour before and after VBS on June 21-24. |
