Prayer Concerns
LET US PRAY FOR YOU
We’d love to join with you in lifting your concerns to God.
God is blessing our community of faith with the gift of new life through our young families.
It is so important that we continue to reach out in love and support to them during the journey of expecting and giving birth. Babies To Be is a ministry that provides support for our expectant couples through a Prayer Partner and our Yard Stork ministry.
ARE YOU EXPECTING?
Please call the church (601) 353-9691 and let us know your due date so we can assign you a prayer partner and add you to our Connects Prayer list for Expectant Parents.
HOW TO SERVE
We need YOU to help us keep up with the wonderful gift of growth we are experiencing at Galloway! Please contact Susan Richards in Galloway’s Caring Ministry Office to become a Prayer Partner for one of our expectant couples.

A safe place to process grief with others, and to know that you are not alone.
Galloway offers two grief support groups that meet on a monthly basis. The evening group meets on the first Monday of each month from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Galloway Parlor. The day group meets as a Brown Bag Lunch group on the second Tuesday of each month, 12:00-1:00 p.m. in room #409. The grief Journey differs from one person to another, and it is a difficult road to travel without support. These groups offer a safe space to grieve with others and to know that you are not alone.

Funeral Greeters
Providing directional guidance, a comforting word, and a smiling face to grieving families.
Galloway’s Funeral Greeter and Usher teams assemble when there is a funeral at the church. They provide directional guidance, a comforting word and a smiling face to grieving families. Team members are notified of the need, time and place of a Galloway funeral, and asked about their ability to serve. If you are available to serve and wish to share God’s love in this way, please contact Susan Richards in Congregational Care at 601-326-3447 or e-mail srichards@gallowayumc.org.
Sunday Greeters and Special Event Greeters
At Galloway, we want every person who walks into our doors to feel welcome, whether they are attending Sunday worship, a musical program or a community event. Our greeters give a warm welcome each week prior to the Sunday School hour and before each worship service.
Special Events give Galloway the opportunity to host people who may be first-time visitors to the church. Our greeters welcome, guide, and distribute programs for these events.
