On August 2, we will celebrate Promotion Sunday, a special milestone as our children move into their new Sunday School classes.

During our morning worship services, we will also present Bibles to our third-grade students, praying that God’s Word will continue to guide them as they grow in faith and discipleship.

As we prepare for a new school year, all students and teachers of every age are encouraged to bring their backpacks, book bags, briefcases, or work bags to worship for a special Blessing of the Backpacks. We will pray for God’s guidance, protection, and blessings as you begin a new academic year.

That afternoon, from 3:00–6:00 p.m., we will gather at River Hills for our Back-to-School Celebration. Children and their families are invited to enjoy fellowship, fun, and a meal together as we pray for a blessed and successful school year.
